A 15-year-old Kiara has had a serious moped accident. Emergency medical services have examined her upon arrival to the site and started her treatment. Now they are waiting for more help while calling Kiara’s parents.
Pm: Is this Kauno Simola I’m speaking to?
F: Yes, I’m Kauno Simola. What is it?
Pm: This is emergency care nurse Elias Karlsson. Is Kiara Simola your daughter?
F: Yes. What has happened?
Pm: She has had a severe moped accident. Her condition is stable, but very serious at the moment.
F: Where are you? We’ll be there right away.
Pm: We are three kilometres to north from Vaurio petrol station. We are, however, taking Kiara to the Central
hospital, so you should come directly there.
F: What is going to happen to her? Is she going to make it?
Pm: The doctor will tell you more at the hospital. The situation is very serious though.
Emergency medical services bring Kiara to the emergency clinic. At the clinic Kiara becomes lifeless and passes away despite resuscitation attempts. The doctor gives the parents the sad news.
