A surgical patient is going to be transferred from the surgical inpatient ward for post-acute care in the hospital in his home town. The nurse calls the patient’s wife about the transfer.
N: Hi. You asked me to call about your husband Ville Nyström’s updates.
W: Hi. How is he doing now?
N: He’s fine. He’s going to be transferred to the central hospital now.
W: How long is it going to take?
N: It’s about two and a half hours.
W: Which ward will he be taken to, and can I go visit him?
N: He will be taken to ward A32. You can go and see him.
W: Thanks for letting me know. Have a good day!
